MGR Eid Gift Project

MGR recognized that hundreds of thousands of people cannot enjoy the pleasure of Eid due to their helplessness and poverty.

With small donations of £20.00 an Eid Gift can be given to the children of these poor and deprived areas of the world, and help MGR to bring a smile on their innocent young faces.

This work can only continue with your support.

The MGR Fidya Service

MGR distributes Fidya among the deserving in the form of food to those who qualify to receive Zakat.

Fidya is for those who are unable to fast in the month of Ramadan (the elderly, the sick, the handicapped, etc.) so compensation must be given by feeding a poor person for every day of fasting not observed.

For each day of missed fasts a person has to feed a poor person, two meals a day.

Please donate £5.00 to feed a poor person, 2 meals in a day.

The MGR Kafarah Service

Kafaraah is for those people who intentionally break a fast in a month of Ramadan without a valid reason (i.e. by eating, smoking, or by drinking etc.) so compensation must be given for each fast broken, which comprises of either;

Fast for 60 consecutive days or

Feeding a poor person 2 meals a day for 60 days

To undertake Kafarah on your behalf the cost is £5.00 per person per day, so for 60 days it equates to £300.00.
